HAPPY EASTER !

" Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and a new life. "- Janine di Giovanni

Welcome readers to today's blog post. Last Thursday I announced to you that I would be releasing images from my collaboration with luxurious womenswear brand, She By Bena everyday. I must say that so far the reception has been overwhelming and I've seen several websites pick up the looks. I'm thankful for the gesture and show of love. Yesterday being Good Friday, I share with you my outfit inspiration. Look 2 from the Royalty collection is a jumpsuit with a train. Jumpsuits have become what I call a girl's best friend and an alternative to the little black dress. They come in figure hugging wrap styles to off-shoulder rompers, plunging neckline, lace or culottes. Every woman should own one and size has never been an issue when it comes to jumpsuit. I love jumpsuits because of the ease of movement it allows you to have. This particular jumpsuit is so lovely you could even wear it as an alternative bride. The train gives it the Glamour and luxury that accompanies wedding gowns. It's also a perfect look for a baby shower, honeymoon or perhaps your wedding dinner. I think I've exhausted my look for the day. Hopefully you'll be inspired to try this beautiful look. Have a great weekend

ROYALTY

"A DRESS MAKES NO SENSE UNLESS IT INSPIRES MEN TO TAKE IT OFF YOU" - Fracoise Sagan

Hey sweethearts, I promised you that I'll be updating the blog constantly so I'm back with today's outfit inspiration. During my long hiatus, myself and one of my favorite designers/personal person Sheela Gabrah of Shebybena collaborated to create her new collection. It also features Winky my Maltese dog who we also took inspiration from. Everyday we'll share a piece from the collection.  Today's look feature her famed corset which has become pretty popular with brides and wedding guests alike as well as fringe. I love the fringe because it slims my figure giving the illusion that I'm skinnier than I look. Fringe cuts across several body sizes so if you're wondering about get it for yourself then please do. I paired the look with neon orange heels to give it life. I also added a chooker to add some drama to my neckline and went for a bob cut to make it very exciting. You can rock to so many places.

Thanks for passing by once again. Let's have fun in this new royalty collection.

POWER DRESSING

" A WELL TAILORED SUIT IS TO WOMEN WHAT LINGERIE IS TO MEN"- UNKNOWN AUTHOR

Hi Everyone, I guess it's right if I wish you a happy new year since we are meeting here for the first time in 2017. Firstly, I like to say that I miss you all my readers so much and I'm back even with my pretty herculean job. For starters I just want to share my outfit inspiration with you all for the week. It's the concept of power dressing but with a casual twist. Who said what a man can do, a woman couldn't pull off easily?? I mixed my black pants with classic white shirt, my shawl lapel tuxedo and brought a pop of colour to the look with my suspenders. For shoes I did the Rihanna inspired puma shoes with a bow. I'm told it's very new in the system so make sure you get the original and not the knock offs. Finally I topped it up with a pork-pie hat and brought out my inner Micheal Jackson. Lets play pretty and see you soon

CORPORATE BLUES

"I still appreciate individuality. Style is much more interesting than fashion, really "-Marc Jacobs

Good morning everyone, I'm so excited about my look this week especially because of all the feedback I've gotten from everyone on social media. I actually was skeptical about doing this look for a business meeting with a corporate client this week. I paired it up with a red lapel pin and nude shoes with a red bow. It was quite interesting how the C.E.O of the company saw me and complemented my look. Everyone was quite shocked because this person in question  hardly has the time to stop and speak to even his own people. I had a good time at the meeting and thank you Nuna for pushing me to wear this amazing number.

THE NOUVA WOMAN

"The principle of the design - the harmony, rhythm and balance are all the same with interior and fashion design"-Venus Williams
Hello guys, I'm so excited about my look for this week so much. Do you remember me telling you about my ambassadorial role with Nigerian fashion outlet Nouva couture?? Well they came through for me in a beautiful studded peplum top and skirt for Sunday. I personally love her attention to details and how different her peplum dress is from every other brand I've worked with. She got my heart with this outfit because of the color. I constantly tell everyone that white the color of my soul and mind; pure without blemish. It also reminds me of the story of Calvary my love and savior cleansed me with his blood.
I styled it with simple nude heels with red soles. They're just perfect and always bring attitude to my look. I really enjoyed myself in this beautiful dress. Thanks Nouva & your team for believing in my style. So far our journey has been blissful. Cheers to more years ahead.

BLACK BARBIE

"When you love fashion, there is no weekend. Everything just blends together"-Carine Roitfeld

I really love this black two piece I'm wearing because it was made by She By Bena. There are so many places to take this outfit to and that's the reason why it's very useful. Mine came with a peplum at the top & a  tulle skirt. Perhaps it reminds me of my childhood when I will play bride in tulle and twirl around with my little dolls. Black has always represented evil and darkness yet Chinese thought say we need the balance it with white and that's how life is actually. Silver is a very outstanding metal & to bring life to a black dress I picked my clutch and shoe in that color. For accessories I did a dangling earring and that was all for me. Perhaps my lipstick rained supreme in everything because I'm a girl and these colors warm me up.

OLIVE

"Difficult Roads Often Leads To Beautiful Destinations"
Hello trend lovers, I hope you haven't missed me so much. This week I went a little dull with my colors and here is why. I'm a lover of colors, however in this age of cosmopolitan fashion, colors reign supreme and you have to dress accordingly. I went for earth tones in camouflage and olive green. They're just okay for this weather & I styled with Ghanaian accessory brand, Yunizaah. These guys produce some very authentic and beautiful leather bags. I personally love this reptile skin one because it works my look and it can even be worn side ways making it more convenient. For shoes I went for a fringe peep toe heel and accessorized with a lovely rose brooch & my pearl ear studs. I'm going to have a terrific day and I hope you all do too
